Dear Glenn County Junior Livestock Auction Buyers, It has been an interesting few weeks in our country, our county, and in agriculture, due to concerns about the COVID-19 pandemic. As you likely know by now, the fair and junior livestock auction has been canceled as a result. We are pleased to announce that we've created a venue for our Glenn County youth exhibitors and their livestock. It is called the Glenn Ag Expo. This is an opportunity for our county's youth to showcase their livestock. We will have more information in the coming days, but for now, we'd like to share: We are working with the local Glenn County buyers groups. Out of respect to social distancing, our auction will be online and hosted on www.EZ2Bid.com There is a quick buyer registration required, as well as a verification process that requires your driver's license number and a credit card for validation. We’re working to secure resale options for the buyers, as well as group transport to the processing facilities for the convenience of our buyers. Animals will be sold with a lot number. Each animal will sell as an individual, not by the pound. Rabbits well as normal by the pen lot. A local veterinarian and a livestock superintendent from out of the area, who is familiar with fair animals, will inspect each animal. If there are any concerns about the market readiness of any animal, it will be addressed. Please bid with confidence! Volunteers are working diligently to gather email addresses for everyone. If you’d like to be added to the email list, please click here Buyer Contact Form. For questions please contact Jody Samons at (530) 514-6055 or jodysamons@gmail.com
